#7 Gold Renaissance Inspired Gown, Corseted Steel boned, Azrael's Accomplice studio sample.
I just recently had one of these gowns on ebay and etsy and had a bidding war and our studio found one more of these samples, so now I have one more to sell! This gown is made of silk dupioni and is hand beaded with pearl beads and has pearl bead straps that hang off the shoulders. Looks great with a hoop skirt. Fully steel boned corset bodice, laces up the back. This sample has some damage on the beading (pictured) it can easily be re-beaded, the beads are just hanging loose on one side. Would have retailed new for over $500, but selling majorly cheap now. Looks AWESOME over a hoop skirt (not included).

Selling the studio sample of this gown. It is the EXACT gown you see in the above picture. Great chance to get a expensive gown at a super sale price. Gown is in good condition, very few signs of wear. Has been worn for a couple photo shoots and about four fashion shows. Taken good care of. This gown is made of rich high quality silk dupioni. There are over 13 yards of fabric in this gown. The gown consists of a renaissance styled corseted bodice, the bodice is fully steel boned. The bodice is trimmed along the neckline with hand pleated trim. The most striking feature of this gown is the bodice detail. The bodice is trimmed with pearl beads along the neckline and the waistline. The same beads drape delicately across the arms in double drapes. The gown laces up the back with ribbon, the dress has a modesty panel in the back where it laces up to cover any skin. This dress can cinch you in just as a real corset does about 2-4 inches. The skirt is very full and is trimmed across the bottom with a hand pleated ruffle. The gown is best worn over a large renaissance style hoop skirt that holds it out dramatically. Hoop skirt is NOT INCLUDED. Please excuse the white hoop you can see under the gown in the photos, these wear taken at a show and the photographer didn't think to adjust the hoop length before the photos were taken. Dress is all gold, the white you see underneath is the hoop. You can find bridal hoops easily on ebay and from evening and bridal retailers.

This is our studio sample of this corset bodice. It's fully steel boned and will cinch you 2-4 inches. It's been worn for 3 fashion shows. It's interfaced in light cotton and lined in twill. Has a fabric print of an old romantic era painting on it. Sleeves can be worn on or off the shoulder. Closes at a 24 waist. Will fit busts of 34-37, waists of 26-28, and hips of 34-38. #3 18th Century Modern Gown Sample

Link above gives full description of the gown, the only difference is the sample is not made with silk taffeta but regular white taffeta.

The bodice is attached to the skirts, it fully steel boned, and in 18th century mixed with victorian shape (flattens bust, cinches waist, goes down on hips about 3-4 inches). Will cinch you 2-4 inches easily.

Fill fit natural measurements of:
Busts: 34-36
Waists: 26-30
Hips: 34-37

When cinched closed it has a 24 inch waist.

Sample has been worn in many fashion shows and shows wear and tear including a small tear in the lower front of the skirt that can easily be repaired and isn't too noticable. It could use a good steam/dry cleaning it get the wrinkles in the skirt out and has a few dirty spots on the hem from it dragging the catwalk at shows.

Gown would make a good formal or costume piece.

I am selling this gown cheap because of it's condition It retails for $950.00 but I am only asking $100 for the sample, the trim on the gown alone is worth more than that. S/h is $20 US $35 overseas

Company Name change?

I am thinking of changing the name of Azrael's Accomplice/ AZAC Designs. It's something I have been thinking about for a few years now, but always was sort of hesitant to do. This being because the brand has been around for so long and is recognizable in the gothic and alt.fashion circles. But to be honest I don't love the name, I like the abbreviation less, and I am seriously considering changing the company name. What do you guys think? Do you think it would hurt business, help business, not make a difference, big deal, or not?

Names I have considered include: La Cour Noire (which means The Black Court and I could possibly use the name The Black Court if the french is too frenchy) , The Twilight Court, Twilight Parlor, House of Time, House of Nobles, Royal Black, Royal Noir, Angel Noir, all more fitting to the historical/aristocratic/dark romantic theme of my clothing more than "Azrael's Accomplice" which is in truth a name I came up with when I was just a young uber goober and thought the most gothy of all goth names for a clothing line must be something with the angel of death in it. I still love that imagery of course, but it's hard for me to take the name seriously anymore at my age. I still love over dramatic names, but I also like names that are a little more friendly to the general public, not associated with bad Saturday Night Live skits, and could pass off in the more mainstream fashion world as something simply eccentric not laughably goth.

Opinions of course are welcome.

It is made from scraps of jewel toned fabric from our various fabrics that we have collected over the years. It also has bits of various trims on it. The base for this one is black taffeta. It's overbust in style and is a 32 waist when cinched closed. There are 12 1/4 inch flat steel bones in this corset, 2 1/4 inch spiral steels at the bust seams, and a 1/2 inch steel busk. The corset has waist tape at the waist. The corset is flatlined with medium weight cotton and lined with heavy cotton. The grommets are gold.
